Broadview Health Center specializes in Neuropathy. Many people report that their feet or hands feel they are sitting on pins and needles. Peripheral Neuropathy is a condition affecting more than 30 million Americans. This program includes interventions and technology that are designed to address the multiple factors that can contribute to the development of Neuropathy, and provide ongoing relief for patients.
Neuropathy almost always has a vascular component, the first group of therapies we utilize are designed to improve nitric oxide production, nerve re-education, angiogenesis and increase circulation to the extremities.
When we can improve the underlying blood supply to the peripheral nerves as well as address the centrally mediated pain, patients experience substantial decreases in pain, increased balance, and diminished numbness/tingling. Unlike some neuropathy treatment programs, ours allows patients to utilize the necessary equipment in the privacy of their own home. This approach not only helps them get better faster but also saves time, energy, and money. Patients may only need to follow up with the doctor every couple of months.
